YEREVAN.- The Armenian authorities have no intention to negotiate the issues regarding snap presidential and parliamentary elections proposed by the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).

Spokesperson for ruling Republican Party Eduard Sharmazanov commented for Armenian News-NEWS.am on ANC’s decision to form the list of negotiators with the authorities.

The authorities are ready for dialogue with all political forces, including the ANC. However, idea of holding snap elections is unacceptable as there is no ground for it.

As to the list of negotiators formed by the opposition, Sharmazanov said that the authorities have not discussed the issue so far.

The Council of Armenian National Congress (ANC) decided upon the list of negotiators with the authorities.

Council-endorsed delegation members’ list includes five people.
