YEREVAN.- Leader of ARF Dashnaktsutyun Vahan Hovhannisyan does not rule out that once President Serzh Sargsyan may announce his decision to hold snap elections.
Hovhannisyan shares position of the opposition Armenian National Congress that incumbent authorities should step down and apologize, he told journalists on Monday.
The authorities should apologize to the Armenian people, but it does not require snap elections, he said.
“They can leave as a result of regular elections,” he added.
Representatives of the ruling coalition repeatedly stated there are no prerequisites for early elections in the country.
