YEREVAN.- ARF Dashnaktsutyun is pessimistic about forthcoming meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan scheduled for late June in the Russian city of Kazan.

Head of ARFD parliamentary group Vahan Hovhannisyan said the Deauville statement issued by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs arouses concern as not all provisions are in the interests of the Armenian side.

In particular, co-chairs suggested that the sides should start modification of any of the documents which are already available.

“None of the documents available on Nagorno-Karabakh is in the interests of the Armenian side,” he said. Hovhannisyan stressed it is impossible to make precise forecasts regarding the Kazan meeting.

In general, Hovannisian said that the Armenian side should withdraw from the negotiations at a certain stage and insist on new talks with the participation of Stepanakert.
