YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: In an interview with three media outlets yesterday, [second President] Robert Kocharyan, in fact, disengaged from the [opposition] Homeland Salvation Movement, or from the 16-17 parties that demand [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's resignation and reject the idea of [snap parliamentary] elections.

In the case when most of them have not clearly stated about it yet, the RPA [former ruling Republican Party of Armenia], led by [third President] Serzh Sargsyan, has put the matter rigidly. In an interview with our newspaper, the party's spokesman, Eduard Sharmazanov, stated several times that those who will run in the snap elections under Nikol Pashinyan's premiership will legitimize the reproduction of the traitor.

Yesterday Sharmazanov avoided giving assessments to the RA second president’s statement that they will run in the elections and "win." We asked him what is the position of the RPA? He said that until the [RPA] SB [(Supreme Body)] session is held, the decision of the year-end session is in force; that is, any consultation with the current regime on that topic is ruled out.

As to when the session of the RPA SB will be convened, Eduard Sharmazanov said that they regularly convene sessions, only a month has passed since the last session, they will inform when they will have a new decision.
