Baku has high expectations from the forthcoming meeting between Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in Kazan.

Azerbaijan considers the time has come for reaching serious progress in resolution of the Karabakh conflict, said Ali Hasanov, official from Azerbaijani presidential administration.

He noted that the recent statement made by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs calls to intensify and accelerate talks. Hasanov stressed there is a will to resolve conflict soon.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev through the mediation of Russian President Dmitry Medevdev in Kazan on June 25.

A working meeting between Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents took place in Moscow on June 11.
