Hafiz Azizzade, head of the Mechanical Irrigation Department of Azerbaijan, was injured in a landmine explosion in the now Azerbaijani-controlled Aghdam region of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).
According to Azerbaijani media, Azizzade was hospitalized with serious injuries.
His condition is currently considered severe.
