YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt on Tuesday.
Sargsyan stressed that Armenia attaches significance to the sustainable development of the political dialogue with Sweden, as well as improvement of cooperation within international agencies, the presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The officials discussed a wide range of issues on Armenia-EU ties and noted effective cooperation may be launched, as Sweden is an initiator of the “Eastern Partnership” project.
The sides stressed the potential for development of bilateral relations between two states and the necessity for intensification of bilateral collaboration in different spheres. The sides also exchanged views on regional issues, including the current stage of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
