Armenian photographer Vaghinak Ghazaryan is one of the winners of the World Press Photo Contest with his photo “Resting Soldier”, which has been included in the “Contemporary Issues, Singles” category.
The 1st-3rd place winners will receive their prizes during the awards ceremony to be held online on April 15 due to the pandemic.
Valery Melnikov is also among the winners with his series of photos (“Paradise Lost”) devoted to the Nagorno-Karabakh war.
