US President Joe Biden has stressed the need to continue US-EU cooperation on matters regarding Turkey, the South Caucasus, Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans, the White House press service said.

In an online meeting with EU heads of state and government, the US President reaffirmed his commitment to intensifying relations between the United States and the European Union.

According to him, a strong EU is in the interests of the US.

He called for close cooperation in resolving shared problems.

Also, the US President expressed a wish to work together on shared foreign policy interests, including China and Russia.
