A 53-year-old woman gave birth at Shengavit Medical Center in Yerevan.

“At Shengavit Medical Center, we are wrapping up the year with an unprecedented and happy event. Perhaps we still need to believe in the miracles of the New Year.

A 53-year-old woman (taking into consideration the patient’s request, we are not disclosing personal data and clinical record) contacted gynecologist-reproductologist of the Reproductive Health Center at Shengavit Medical Center Anna Khachatryan, and after overcoming several difficulties and attempting in-vitro fertilization (IVF), her long-anticipated pregnancy was recorded.

The woman was under the direct supervision of Head of the Obstetrics Service at Shengavit Medical Center, obstetrician-gynecologist Ashot Sirunyan during the whole period of her pregnancy.

Taking into consideration the woman’s age and the fact that she had undergone IVF, Sirunyan conducted a C-section.

A healthy girl was born and was named Anahit.

Words can’t describe the emotional encounter of the mother and her newborn when the doctor brought the newborn to her happy mother for the first time.

The happy mother and newborn Anahit are already at home and express their gratitude to the doctors and specialists at Shengavit Medical Center, their irreplaceable doctors Ashot Sirunyan and Anna Khachatryan for giving the opportunity for a new life and a bundle of joy named Anahit.
