YEREVAN. - The working groups of the Armenian authorities and oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) will meet at Armenian Government Reception House on July 26.

The working group of the ruling coalition will hold a conference and discuss certain strategic issues on the dialogue with the ANC, MP from Prosperous Armenian Party (PAP) Vardan Bostanjyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Referring to the question what response the working group will give, if the ANC insists on snap elections, Bostanjyan noted each statement should be substantiated.

“It often happens when one of the sides displays a rigid attitude toward its approaches during the debates. However, usually a solution is given to the issue,” the MP noted.

As reported earlier, the working group of the Armenian National Congress held a session on Friday. The meeting began at 11:30 a.m. and lasted several hours. The ANC’s action plan was on the agenda.

The previous meeting between Armenian authorities and the ANC was held at Erebuni Plaza hotel on July 18. However, the sides failed to reach an agreement on issues of common interest.
