Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law containing a set of social and economic measures to support citizens and businesses under sanctions.

The initiative is designed to protect the country's national interests from the unfriendly actions of foreign states and international organizations, TASS reported.

The document defines mechanisms to support the economic sector, including simplifying licensing and permitting procedures established by Russian legislation and regulating specific features of the legal regime for the procurement of goods, work and services to meet State and municipal needs.
