YEREVAN. – Armenian newspaper Hraparak obtained information from political circles that a new party will be established till September.

Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan decided to establish new party on the background of possible developments and the dialogue between the authorities and oppositional Armenian National Congress. The new party will unite the supporters of Kocharyan and will cooperate openly. It will be established with the aim to participate in the presidential elections. The newly established party may be leaded by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Vardan Oskanyan, the newspaper writes. 

However, Oskanyan disapproved that he would lead a party till September.

“That is not true,” he told in response to newspaper’s question on Wednesday.

Concerning Robert Kocharyan’s plans to establish a new party, Oskanyan forwarded question to Kocharyan and added that personally he is not going to open any party.
