GYUMRI. – Out of 116 accidents occurred in the first half of this year in Gyumri, 40.8 percent are of anthropogenic character, during which six people died. 103 accidents were registered last year, during which 9 people died.
A total of 72 people (83.1 % of total number) were injured this year as a result of anthropogenic accidents, while the number was 60 (47.1 %) in 2010. Out of 43 cases of fire (2010 recorded 44 cases), 17 were registered in Gyumri. No one died of fires. Rescue department of Gyumri city reported during the session.
