YEREVAN. – The perspective of bilateral peacekeeping trainings was discussed in the course of the recent visit of Armenian first deputy MOD Davit Tonoyan in U.S.

An agreement was reached to hold the trainings, press secretary of the MOD Davit Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. However, no information on the terms and the dates of the trainings is available yet. Those issues will be clarified during the further negotiations.

Armenia participates in the peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan. Armenian peacekeepers earlier participated in the mission in Iraq.
