YEREVAN. – Authorities-opposition negotiations are very effective and move constructively, ruling Republican MP, member of the coalition working group Gagik Minasyan told journalists on Friday.
“Judging from the discussions, I can say that both sides have important goals and they will overcome obstacles to achieve them. We have working and constructive atmosphere and we should do everything to keep and deepen it,” Minasyan added.
During the regular meeting with authorities’ delegation, Armenian opposition told about the violations that police carried out against supporters of the opposition when they were distributing leaflets, as well as about transportation issue on the day of oppositional rally. Authorities promised to do the best to reveal the accused.
Though the negotiations are run effectively, representatives of oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) offered to make the discussions daily. However, authorities do not consider it is logical. Moreover, they blame oppositional ANC for avoiding discussions.
