YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the outgoing Lebanese Ambassador to Armenia Jebrail Jaara on Friday.
Tigran Sargsyan highly appreciated the current relations between two states and attached importance to the Ambassador’s activities in improvement of bilateral ties, the governmental press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Jebrail Jaara also stressed the Lebanese Government made efforts to expand relations with Armenia. He noted Lebanese companies are interested in investments in Armenia, particularly in the fields of insurance and services.
The sides emphasized Armenia and Lebanon will continue the effective cooperation.
It is noteworthy over 100 Lebanese companies operate in Armenia. Over the recent years, they have made significant investments in the fields of Armenia’s banking, insurance, real estate and other sectors.
