ANKARA. – A 13-year-old F. D. gave a birth to a baby in the hospital of Suruchi region in Turkish Sanliurfa province.

After the age of the girl was discovered, doctors immediately turned to law enforcement bodies, Turkish Radical reports. Police clarified that she was forced to marry one of her relatives, 18-year-old Mehmed. Police arrested the father of the newborn accusing him in “having sexual relation with under age.”
