The list of beneficiaries of the competition to provide financial support for the modernization of Armenia’s scientific infrastructure as well as material and technical base has been approved by the order of Vahram Dumanyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports informs Armenian News-NEWS.am that this year, unprecedented funding of around 2 billion 933 million drams (approx. US$7.5 million) was provided for the modernization of the material and technical base of Armenia’s scientific organizations.

The respective tender was announced on June 1.

The list includes 15 scientific organizations, and 28 applications were funded. The acquired equipment will be located in the organizations that submitted the tender applications. But according to the terms of the tender, other beneficiary organizations carrying out scientific activities will also have the opportunity to use them.
