STRASBOURG. – Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe will follow revealing the March 1, 2008 ten murders and expects a serious progress from the investigation, PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu told the journalists on Monday, Armenian delegation member, MP Naira Zohrabyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am from Strasbourg.

On Monday PACE launched its fall session that will last till October 7. PACE will discuss Armenia’s issue. Co-rapporteurs on Armenia John Prescott and Axel Fischer will report on Armenia’s democratic institutions. European MPs will hold discussions and the document will have its final hearings on October 7 session.

Armenian several human rights activists have released a statement on the resolution. They expressed concern on several provisions of the document, which contradicts not only to PACE demands, but also to the democracy, human rights and principles of rule of law, as well as devaluates PACE monitoring process as a whole.
