Information on the wounding of Armenian peacekeepers in Kosovo does not correspond to reality. Armenian MOD Peacekeeping Brigade Commander, Colonel Arthur Simonyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“They reported to me as of this morning, and everything is normal. There is simply no such thing. If there were such thing, there would have been a huge uproar by now,” Colonel Simonyan stated.   

He also noted that only one Armenian soldier was accompanied to the medical unit, in recent days. He was treated, but his health problem was not related to his military service; there was not even any injury.       

Nouvelles d’Arménie magazine of France had written that four NATO soldiers, including Armenian peacekeepers, and six Serbs were recently injured as a result of violence, when the Kosovo Force (KFOR) units were taking apart the barricades built at a border checkpoint with Serbia.
