YEREVAN. – Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan on Wednesday received a delegation from the Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate, led by its Chief, Modestas Kaseliauskas, which is in Armenia on an official visit.
Sargsyan underscored the delegation’s visit, noting that it will contribute to information and experience exchange in carrying out tax reforms, and it will also enable to discuss this domain’s urgent matters and challenges, Government Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Thanking for the reception, Modestas Kaseliauskas stated that the objective of their visit is to examine the bilateral technical collaboration, between the administrations of the two countries, in the tax sphere.
The parties stressed that Armenia and Lithuania have registered success in the several directions of tax reforms, and highlighted the experience exchange, in raising the effectiveness of reforms.
Gagik Khachatryan, Chairman of the Armenian Government’s State Revenue Committee, and Modestas Kaseliauskas on Thursday will sign an agreement on technical cooperation in the domain of tax.
