The U.K. Government signed a project on construction of ten nuclear power plants along the Irish Sea – a sea between Great Britain and the Irish islands. Three out of ten reactors will be erected on the British coast.

According to Ed Miliband, Britain’s Secretary of State for Energy and Climate, the first reactor will be brought into action by 2018. Due to his estimations, the plants will cover 40% of the country’s energy demands by 2025.

However, the project triggers much concerns as the new constructions are feared to have a drastic negative effect on environment and health.
