A man who opened fire at the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul was killed by policemen.
Turkish Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin said he was 36-year-old Libyan who arrived at the Topkapi Palace in a vehicle with Syrian number plate. He entered the territory of Turkey on November 27, Zaman newspaper reports.
The armed man has been offering resistance to police for an hour injuring a solider and а security officer.
