YEREVAN. – The ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) does not wish to prepare a proportional election list with the coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), since they cannot agree on one key issue, Zhoghovurd daily writes.  

“PAP wants to form a fifty-fifty bloc with RPA, and it is against [the coalition’s Rule of Law Party] RLP being in the list. After the discussions, there was even a talk about a 40 percent RPA, 40 [percent] PAP, and 20 percent RLP ratio. But this time RPA was against this option.      

But PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan’s spokesperson Khachik Galstyan denied this information, adding he is not aware of such discussion,” Zhoghovurd writes.
