French anti-terrorism prosecutors announced Tuesday the arrest of three people in southwestern France as part of an investigation by the country's national intelligence service into suspected preparations for a terrorist attack, the Associated Press reported.
Police detained the three men in the Toulouse region, the national anti-terrorism prosecutor's office said.
The prosecutor's office said the national police intelligence service (DGSI) was investigating an alleged plot to carry out a terrorist attack or attacks.
The agency did not provide any other details about the case in its statement.
