The former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, made a post on social media and addressed the Armenian voters of the country.
Saakashvili wrote as follows: "My dear Armenian compatriots, the fate of our shared motherland—Georgia—is being decided. Don't be afraid of the transitional government, go to the election, and color the opposition—number 5—on October 26.
Know that the existence of our neighbor Armenia, as well as the fate of peace in the Caucasus, also depends on Georgia's return to the European path.
I rely on your patriotism and wisdom.
Yours, Mikheil Saakashvili."
Parliamentary election will be held in Georgia on Saturday.
It is noteworthy that earlier, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili had said that "if Georgia does not return to the European path, it will be a tragedy for Armenia as well."
