An opposition rally begins in Tbilisi, outside the Georgian parliament. Nine days after the parliamentary elections today, the opposition promises to publicize its future plan of action, according to “Novosti-Georgia”․

Rustaveli Avenue is blocked off.

Police have been mobilized in the government quarter. Special forces are in the courtyard of the parliament.

All four opposition associations that have made it to parliament are claiming election fraud, with Georgian Dream taking the majority, according to official figures.

The rally was preceded by a march led by opposition leaders from Station Square to Rustaveli Avenue.

Earlier, the “Coalition for Change” announced the collection of tents, with up to a thousand of them already in stock. But it is still unclear whether the tent city will appear in the center of Tbilisi tomorrow.

This will be the second protest rally of the opposition after the elections. The first one took place on October 28, after the Central Election Commission announced the preliminary results.

The ruling party says the elections were exemplary and individual violations could not have affected the results. The opposition says there was a massive violation of the secrecy of the vote, vote-buying and falsification of data, promising to present all the evidence. Western partners have called for an investigation into the violations recorded by observers, and an international mission cannot be ruled out to look into the issue.
