In 9 months of 2024, its volume amounted to 1 billion kWh, which is 28.8% less than last year's figures, but the profit from exports fell by 48.8% and amounted to $49 million.
The average export price this year decreased by 28.1% and amounted to $0.047 per kWh, Sputnik Georgia reports. Most electricity was exported to Turkey (82.8%). The rest went to Armenia (13.1%), Azerbaijan (4%) and Russia (0.1%).
