All the members of the Armenian chess team are real friends, said GM Levon Arnonian.

One of the leaders of world chess commented on Armenian team’s performance in the recent major tournaments. 

“We respect and love each other, it is half of success. As regards the defeat we suffered at the European championships, we continue thinking about it as national team is something very important for us. We have a very friendly team and are shouting for each other,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti agency.

Armenia was only fourth at the European championship held in November.
