The aim of the business workshop Trade Circle with European Union is enhancing awareness in the Armenian business environment and increasing Armenian exports to the European Union (EU), stated RA Deputy Minister of Economy Mushegh Tumasyan.

“The export of Armenian products to the European Union is a complicated process, and promoting this process requires enhancing Armenian businessmen’s awareness of laws and trade regimes in effect in the European Union,” Tumasyan said. He pointed out that the Doing Business program is aimed at promoting Armenian exports as well. As regards the possibility of an Armenia-EU free trade agreement, Tumasyan pointed out that such an agreement would contribute to Armenia’s integration with the EU. Of importance is not the agreement itself, but an environment that would make it possible, Tumasyan said.
