Armenia is a small country with a limited potential, RA Deputy Minister of Economy Mushegh Tumasyan told NEWS.am, responding to a question about the reasons why only 15 product items constitute 80% of Armenian exports.

With restrictions on exports, as well as business culture problems, considered, it is obvious that "Armenia has not reached the necessary product diversification level, Tumasyan said.

As to whether objective reasons for the current situation exist or the “wrong” economic pattern accounts for it, Tumasyan said that “reality is always objective. The problem is in changing it. Changing means promoting product diversification, establishment of new enterprises, new work style, entry to European markets.”
