Armenia and the European Union (EU) have practically finalized the negotiations on the new agenda of priorities. Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan announced this at the forum, entitled “Armenia-EU: Promotion of Strategic Partnership based on the Experience of the Visegrad Quartet,” on Thursday.

"We have practically finalized the negotiations with the European Union on the new agenda of our priorities. In the next few weeks, we will organize a respective meeting with the civil society [of Armenia] to present the results," said the Armenian deputy FM.

In September 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan had announced that Armenia and the EU were negotiating a new partnership agenda aimed at expanding the horizons of cooperation in implementing democratic reforms and ensuring socioeconomic stability in Armenia.
