New President Donald Trump has signed an executive order at the White House on Monday intended to end birthright citizenship, Reuters reports.

This is an executive order dealing with birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution, a presidential aide said before the signing of this document.

The US is the only country in the world that does this in relation to the birthright, the new US president said, for his part.

Trump's press service explained that it is about the executive order on termination of birthright citizenship.

The text of this document has not been publicized yet.

This executive order imposes restrictions on granting birthright US citizenship for US-born children whose parents lack legal immigration status.
