Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Rosen Zhelyazkov on his election as the Prime Minister of Bulgaria.
The message states, in particular, that the history of interstate relations between Armenia and Bulgaria is characterized by cooperation based on centuries-old friendship, shared values, cultural closeness, mutual trust, and mutual benefit between the two peoples, and that Zhelyazkov himself has made a great contribution the normal development of these relations.
Pashinyan noted that Armenia highly appreciates Bulgaria's continued support for the promotion of the Armenia-European Union agenda, and is ready for more active cooperation with Bulgaria.
Also, the Armenian PM expressed confidence that with joint efforts, they will be able to further strengthen and deepen the agenda of bilateral relations between Armenia and Bulgaria—and for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
