The Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly (NA) on Friday will discuss the draft law—approved by the government—on starting the process of Armenia's accession to the European Union (EU), and which will be given the green light by the initiative of 50,000 people who signed in favor for the holding of the respective referendum in the country.

The agenda of the respective meeting has been posted on the official website of the NA.

Thus, after the expected approval of this bill by the aforesaid parliamentary committee, it can be debated on at the next regular four-day plenary session of the NA—starting on February 11.
