Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, who was appointed to this post on January 13, will announce the country’s new government within the next 48 hours, Marwan Hamadeh, a member of the Democratic Gathering bloc, told Al Hurra television.
“The cabinet of 24 ministers will correspond to the political phase Lebanon is in after the election of General Joseph Aoun as president on January 9,” said. “The criteria for forming the government by Prime Minister Salam will help overcome the crisis, and the cadres he selected enjoy the trust of the Lebanese and international communities.”
Also, Hamadeh named the ministers who will occupy key positions.
