President Donald Trump’s administration of will continue to sue the US states and cities that hinder the fight against illegal immigration. This was announced on Thursday by US Attorney General and Secretary off Justice Pam Bondi.

They are choosing to give priority to illegal immigrants over their own citizens and law enforcement officers who are trying to protect them. The Trump administration is not only suing the city of Chicago, it is suing the state of Illinois, the Chicago mayor, the Illinois governor, and others. And if others do not comply with federal laws, they will be next, Bondi told Fox News.

Earlier Thursday, the Trump administration accused Illinois and Chicago of obstructing federal efforts to enforce immigration laws.

Bondi said the so-called sanctuary city policies make it difficult for law enforcement agencies at the city, state, and national levels to work together and prevent federal officials from keeping Americans safe.
