The United States has not stopped passing intelligence “needed by the Ukrainians for any defensive purposes,” Donald Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, has said.

Witkoff is part of a US delegation scheduled to meet with Ukrainian negotiators in Jeddah tomorrow.

“There's been a lot of discussion between our teams and the Ukrainians and the Europeans,” the U.S. president's special envoy told Fox News. - I would call that progress.”

Witkoff said he also hopes an important agreement on rare earth metals will be signed during this week's meetings, the BBC reported.
