RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition will keep activities of economic entities, importing consumer goods under complete control. This decision was made at the Nov. 17 session of the State Commission.

According to the reporters, recently the tendency for increase in petrol, diesel oil, butter, sugar and vegetable oil prices is recorded. Under commission’s decision, economic entities engaged in import of the mentioned goods should substantiate the price change within two days, in the period starting November 20 to December 31.

Commission experts will conduct monitoring in the market. The organization activities are aimed at suppressing groundless price rise on the eve of New Year holidays.
