The Vatican says 200,000 people showed up for the Pope's funeral in St. Peter's Square and the surrounding area, according to BBC News.
Meanwhile, Italian police clarified the previously announced figure of 150,000 people, of which about 50,000 gathered in St. Peter's Square itself.
Dozens of world leaders have also arrived to attend the funeral of the head of the Roman Catholic Church.
Armenia is represented by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
