France will no more take refugees from Armenia, Turkey and Serbia. This decision was made in the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless People (OFPRA) based on the fact that the mentioned states are already safe for living, CNNTurk reports.

Thus, all citizens from these countries applying for asylum will be rejected and applications studied more thoroughly. According to the source, Georgia was excluded from the list of safe countries.

The refugees’ issue was included in the agenda upon the demand of Turkish Youth Party leader Cem Uzan who also claimed political asylum in France.
