Turkey is concerned over Turkish air time cut in Germany, CNNturk reports.

In 2009 Radyo Multikulti broadcasting in 17 languages, including Turkish was closed due to financial issues. Meanwhile, the financing of the Turkish theatre after operating over 25 years was also suspended. German DPA radio station having Turkish broadcasting will also shut down by the end of the year though launched activities seven months ago.

Another blow to Turkish broadcasting was struck by West German Broadcasting (WDR). Turkish one-hour programs will be replaced by German ones on Koln radio, at that Turkish weekly 10.5-hour programs — by 5.5 ones.

As NEWS.am reported previously, Bulgarians also complain about Turkish news broadcasting. The leader of nationalist “Party of Bulgarian Men” Rosen Markov made an attempt of self-immolation opposing news broadcasting in Turkish, near the building of Bulgarian BRT TV channel. Rumors have it signature collection launched against Turkish broadcasting in Bulgaria.
