YEREVAN.- Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan met with Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Armenia Kasahun Dender.

Margaryan stressed there is potential for development of bilateral relations taking into account centuries-old friendly ties between the states.  

“We would gladly establish mutually beneficial cooperation between the capitals and are ready to support cultural and business projects,” he said.

Ambassador Dender expressed hope that the Armenian-Ethiopian relations will develop especially taking into account the existing business ties. He stressed that intends to organize the days of Ethiopian culture in Armenia and will be glad to discuss prospects for establishing sister city relationship with Armenia.
