The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will start their regional visit on Wednesday, Russian FM said after the talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart.

“The existing status quo is definitely unacceptable both to Armenia, Azerbaijan and the people of Karabakh,” Sergey Lavrov said during a press conference on Tuesday.

He noted that resolution of the conflict is important to secure stability in the region, and is one of the priorities of Russia’s foreign policy.

The decision on the visit was made during the recent meeting of mediators with Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs in Krakow.
