YEREVAN. – Armenian police are preparing reports in connection with the child trafficking case.

According to Armenian News-NEWS.am sources, grandmother is suspected of allegedly selling a newborn to unknown person, acquaintance of her neighbor.

Earlier Pastinfo agency said the citizen of Gyumri petitioned to police in connection with trafficking case. The woman claimed that a person took the baby away, but did not pay $1,000.

The daughter of Gyumri woman gave birth in September, the buyer was recognized as a father and took the child away without leaving money.
