A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has occurred in the Province of Catania in Sicily, Italy, ANSA reported.
The epicenter of this tremor was located in the Santa Maria di Licodia commune, and 9km beneath the surface.
Several people were slightly injured and taken to hospital.
The cornices of some buildings had collapsed as a result of this quake.
