YEREVAN. – The 35th Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) has kicked off Monday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia (PHOTOS).
The meeting will last two days, whereupon the La Francophonie Summit will get underway, and it will bring together more than 80 delegations from OIF member and observer countries.
At the meeting, the FMs will consider four countries’ applications for membership in this organization, listen to reports by OIF Secretary-General Michaëlle Jean and Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, discuss several organizational matters, and decide on the venue and date of the next meeting.
