YEREVAN. – The National Security Service of Armenia (NSS) has exposed a case of manufacture and sale of counterfeit drugs. We are informed about this by the NSS press service.

In particular, on 18 September, an administrative proceeding was initiated, within the framework of which inspectors conducted an inspection at a pharmacy operating in Yerevan and belonging to a private entrepreneur. As a result, the drug named Fluconazole-Asteria was found, and it was sent for a test.

According to the finding, this drug that was found did not comply with the requirements of the country’s law on medical drugs.

The NSS has launched a criminal case over the incident.
