YEREVAN. – Armenia will have a new police unit, a modern patrol duty, PM Nikol Pashinyan said.

The first stage of the police reform will commence this year, he told reporters during a press conference on 25 January.

“We plan to start admission of guys and girls at the Police Academy in March to complete the new unit. We hope a patrol duty will be created by the end of the year, new in quality, with new technical means, which will form a new attitude towards the person, and there will be another new attitude to police officer, ”said Pashinyan.
